If you are a particularly sensitive or anxious patient, you may require a local anesthetic. However, most porcelain veneers procedures do not require this. Dental porcelain veneers can be used in conjunction with other cosmetic dental procedures such as whitening or crowns. You’ll want to care for your new acquisition to keep your porcelain veneers looking great. Brush and floss as you normally do. Choose a nonabrasive toothpaste.
